Do my files get uploaded to a server?

For most tools, no. Tools marked "Local" process entirely on your device using your browser's own capabilities. A small number of tools (video conversion, Office file conversion, OCR) need server processing — those files are automatically deleted within 2 hours.

Is there a file size limit?

Free accounts can process files up to the limit shown on each tool page. Signing up or upgrading raises these limits.

Do you add watermarks?

No, never.
